Tree-falling & other Randomness

It was one HOT day here in Oklahoma.  We decided to cut down 5 dead trees and use them for firewood this winter.

Some other random photos from today . . .

The new fence my dad and brothers have been working on so tirelessly!  They've done a great job so far...just gotta add the fencing  :)

A lizard.

 Some kind of flower.

A somewhat confused mama and baby.  Yep, chicken decided she was gonna hatch a duck egg  :)

The new hay barn my dad built.

A rooster and his hen.

That's all for today!

Goodnight!

Yesterday's Liberty Party

Me and my sister, Arael, singing "Someone Like You"

Yesterday's "Liberty Party At The Ranch Party" was a blast and definitely made for a long day!  So here's MY version of what happened this past 2 days. . .

My Saturday was spent by staying with some SUPER crazy COOL friends, and staying up till midnight cleaning walls, windows, floors...cooking, painting fingernails and toenails, and stretching my vocal chords "to the max" for the next days "concert".

Got an early 6 a.m. start to my day, and went and helped Suriyah Fish milk 35 of her MANY dairy goats, feed bottle kids, fill water buckets and then we were off to set up the party in the front yard by around 9 a.m!

Within the 9 a.m. hour, tents were set up, paper was decorated with and sound checks were done.

I gave TWIST ties to someone who asked for ZIP ties to hang a banner :)

Going on inside the house was some crazy dance practice with Laura Clarbour!

Then, way later in the day around 4 pm, after our soccer team had left to go play a game, me and Suriyah thought we would go out to the barn and milk the goats, to escape the madness of the droves of excited, liberty-minded folks arriving, that way we could take a breather for a little bit. But NO :) Nope, the announcer had to broadcast over the loudspeaker that we were milking and invited everyone to come watch us! Haha, that was somewhat chaotic as a crowd of around 30 people gathered inside the barn to watch THE OPERATION! We even gave out free milking lessons!

With the goats milked, fed and put away, and the soccer crew back, bringing some "party animals" back with them, it was time to start the show!

And from about 7 to 9 p.m., it was an all out blast getting to sing for everyone and listen to great speeches by amazing people!

Pretty good crowd!

'Liberty Lady' the pony.  There were pony rides for the kids too!
Me singing "The Media Lies"
My day pretty much ended with sand-covered legs and feet from the volleyball court and a nice cold root beer float by the campfire with friends! Oh, and some wild dancing of course ;)

(I rose at 6 a.m. and buzzed around non-stop, all day until I crashed at around 1:45 a.m.)

Hope everyone has a great night!  If you would like to hear my music, visit:  http://www.reverbnation.com/hannahyoung

Convention Weekend

Hi all,
The past few days have been a whirlwind!  Going to a Republican State Convention is probably not what a "normal" teenager would choose to do on a weekend  :)  I'll give you a basic rundown of what went down...
On the drive to OKC...some people needed some rest before the eventful weekend ;)
Friday (May 11th), my dad, a few friends and I carpooled to Oklahoma City for the Oklahoma Republican National Convention.  When we got to OK City, we went to a committee meeting hosted at the Embassy Suites, to fix some things, but the RNC did not follow their rules!  (will hopefully post a video I took of the meeting soon)
Me, Suriyah and Ezriyah at the Friday night Committee Meeting

After the Committee meeting at the Embassy Suites, we left there and went to a Casino for the Liberty Pep rally.  We watched and sung along as Jordan Page played for us all.  We also got to hear Tom Woods and Jason Rink speak.  I, along with several others, gave a 60 second stump speech.  To sum up the day, it was an exhausting and exciting day, especially getting to meet other liberty-minded people like me!

Me giving my stump speech.  (my flip-flops broke...that's why I'm barefooted :))

 This is Justin Rink speaking...

Saturday (May 12th), we got to the Embassy Suites at a bright and early 6:45 a.m.  My friend Suriyah and I volunteered about 3 hours of our time to help register delegates into the convention, starting at about 7:30 a.m.  That job was very fast paced and fun!  After that was done, the convention started a little bit after that.  Suriyah set up a Ustream account (live video stream) and we used someone's camera to live stream the convention online.  The camera was set up for the entire convention (which lasted about 8-9 hours inside).  Suriyah was typing and chatting away with almost 1900 viewers and I was giving vocal updates part of the time.

Mary Fallin, the Governor of Oklahoma got up on stage and spoke.  Everything she was speaking sounded great.  She said she was going to pass the Open-carry law, which is awesome!  Then, she ruined her whole speech by endorsing Mitt Romney for president!!  There was massive booing and jeering at her, and then the Ron Paul chant started.  I couldn't help but participate in the booing and chanting  :)

From the beginning, the Oklahoma Republican Party did NOT follow the rules, once again!  Many motions from the floor were ignored, too many to mention here.  At around 4:30 p.m., the RNC ordered the hotel staff to shut the walls in, which means half of the crowd was shut from the other part of the room.  Then the lights went off briefly.  Then they unlawfully adjourned the meeting, even though there was much unfinished business.
Parking lot patriots having a convention, following the rules to the letter
We reconvened outside in the parking lot (all Ron Paul supporters since everyone else went home) to finish the convention, legally and according to the rules.  My friend and I live streamed the entire 4 hour process outside, while Ustream viewers plotted how they would get pizzas sent to the hungry crowd.  MANY pizzas arrived, all by the hand of caring patriots from around the world.

You can watch all the Ustream videos here:  http://www.ustream.tv/channel/suriyahfish

I will try to post more links and info later, but it's really late and I gotta hit the hay :)\

Just Imagine . . .

You're wading in a peaceful creek. Life is good, when suddenly a flash flood overwhelms the small creek, and now you're on a crash course through the torrent, to a devastating end! You're trying to keep your head above water and you know in your heart that this is a bad situation, but keep trying to convince yourself that the current is leading you to safety.  Little do you know, it's leading you closer and closer to a massive drop off.

People on the banks of the river call out to you time and time again and throw life raft after life raft to you, warning you of the inevitable danger you face, yet you don't grab on...you don't listen.

The same is happening with this country, the United States. The media and our leaders put up a barrier between you and reality, giving you a false sense of security. Then, when the time comes for you to face the hard truth that has been suppressed, and is now being shown to you, and the "elephant in the room" has "come out of the closet", you choose to look at the mouse in the corner.

I urge you to take responsibility as an American citizen and stand up for your country to protect your freedoms and the freedoms of the generations to come!

Vote for RON PAUL in 2012!   Check out what he stands for at www.ronpaul2012.com

You can't ignore FREEDOM anymore!!

This is far to serious to ignore.  A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for FREEDOM!

Ron Paul rally in OK City!

WOW!  Yesterday was a GREAT, FUN and busy day!  The day started at an early 5 a.m. with preparing for the trip to the Oklahoma State Capitol with 11 of my friends.  OK City is about 2 1/2 hours from where we are.

We got there pretty early (about 9 a.m.) and met with the rally coordinator.  He told us all to go put Ron Paul shirts on and then he put us to work on putting signs together.  Before we really realized it, my friends and I were put in charge of the official Ron Paul 2012 campaign table and left in charge of all the donations.  For the rest of the day, some of us stood at the table with an almost constant stream of supporter's donations flooding in, buying Ron Paul T-shirts and bumper stickers!

When Ron Paul finally walked out on the stage (around 1 p.m.), the crowd of about 1300 people went WILD!  We all chanted, cheered and made a lot of noise to say the least  :)  The speech lasted about 25 minutes and of course, it was all about bringing back our constitutional liberty and rights...the crowd was full of energy and the young idea of freedom!

Ron Paul speaking at the rally.
Crowd of about 1300 gathered to hear Ron Paul speak.
We also got to dance at the rally before Ron Paul spoke.  Someone from the crowd put a video of it up on YouTube!

As Ron Paul was pulling out of the parking lot, he waved bye to us as my friends and I did a sign wave!

My friend Qadoshyah got her picture taken with Carol Paul!

Our picture got put in the paper!  Here's the article about yesterday:  http://www.reddirtreport.com/Story.aspx/21580  -  The first picture on that article is of us (me and my friends) running the campaign table.

We made it back safely and most of us are very sunburned!

Goodnight all!

Sucking on my finger :)
Today was a beautiful, warm day for working outside!  I put together a small pen for the two bucklings today and they had a blast running around in it!
